Asherman Syndrome is characterised by the development of scarring within the uterus, in most cases following treatment for a miscarriage or heavy postpartum bleeding. The development of this scar tissue drastically changes the fertility prospects of women.
Professor Thierry Vancaillie has been involved in the treatment of Asherman’s Syndrome since 1984. With 30 years and several hundred cases of experience, the Asherman Centre Australia (ACA) has been established to achieve the following:
